International Education Center
The International Education Center was established with the goal of producing students who can think and act with a global perspective. By developing and maintaining relations with universities in other countries, we are able to provide overseas training and international education programs with our affiliated overseas universities and create programs targeted to needs in the international areana. Through the Language Education Center, we make opportunities for language study available. In addition, the International Student Support Center provides services to international students in order to help them succeed.
Josai Education Abroad Program
What is JEAP?

Long-term Study Abroad Program
Through this program, students enrolled at Josai University and Josai Junior College can study long-term at one of our sister schools in the United States or Canada. The course credits that students receive at our sister schools can be transferred to Josai based on a credit transfer system with those schools. Therefore, students who wish to study abroad can do so without repeating an academic year at Josai. Furthermore, we provide assistance to those who wish to study abroad at our sister schools so that they can focus on their studies while overseas.

Short-term Study Abroad Program

Summer Short-term Program
This program is conducted during Josaifs summer vacation. Students who participate in this program study languages and can enjoy short trips or parties organized by the sister schools.Spring Short-term Program
This program is conducted during Josaifs spring vacation. This program not only focuses on language studies, but also offers unique experiences related to various academic departments at Josai. For instance, students belonging to the Pharmaceutical Department can visit a variety of medical care facilities related to pharmacy, nutrition and welfare. Students who are studying to become teachers can visit junior high schools abroad, where they can introduce Japanese culture and may realize the differences between education in Japan and in other countries.Exchange Program
There is also an exchange program between Josai and several of our sister schools. Students who participate in this exchange program are exempted, by paying specified school fees to Josai, from paying school fees to the schools at which they study overseas. Furthermore, the course credits that students receive at our sister schools can be transferred to Josai based on a credit transfer system with those schools so that students can graduate from Josai in four years.
