From Josai Hill to the world
The newly established MIZUTA Mikio Memorial Hall
To commemorate Josai’s 50th anniversary, the university is building the new MIZUTA Mikio Memorial Hall on Josai Hill–the highest point on campus. With its three linked terraces and lounge spaces that hug the topography, the building’s design suggests an extension of the forest. The focus of the MIZUTA Mikio Memorial Hall, which will be open to both students and members of the community, centers on The Founder’s Room, which can accommodate large groups and includes a guest area for receiving distinguished overseas visitors and VIPs. With its multi-purpose lounge spaces for holding receptions, exhibitions, workshops and many other kinds of activities, the Center will be Josai’s center point of communication to the world.
