In our laboratory, we value not only daily research activities but also opportunities for students and faculty to communicate and build good relationships.
Through seasonal events, lab trips, interaction with international students, and English conversation practice,
students can enjoy a friendly and active laboratory life.
Seasonal Parties
We hold seasonal events such as welcome parties, BBQs, summer gatherings,
imoni parties (a traditional autumn hot-pot gathering), and Christmas parties.
These events are good opportunities to relax between research activities
and get to know other students and faculty members.
Faculty members sometimes prepare homemade dishes, which many students enjoy.
Lab Trips
Our lab trips give students an opportunity to spend time together outside the laboratory.
On our trip to Kamakura, students enjoyed communicating in a different setting,
visited new places together, and shared good memories.
Exchange with International Students
Our laboratory actively welcomes international students.
We have hosted students from countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, and the Czech Republic.
Through research and daily communication, students can learn about different cultures and values,
and experience the idea that science has no borders.
English Conversation Practice
We also hold English conversation practice sessions led by faculty members.
These sessions focus on daily conversation and familiar topics, so students can enjoy using English in a relaxed atmosphere.
Even if you are not confident in English, please feel free to join us if you are interested.
