次の条件を満たす者
外国において学校教育 12 年の課程を修了した者、またはこれに準ずる者で、文部科学大臣の指定した者。
Applicants must be those who:
Have completed 12 years of school education overseas or are recognized as being equivalent to this
qualification and who are designated by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.

≪日本文化専修課程≫ Japanese Culture Course
日本語能力試験でCEFRレベルＢ1以上（Ｎ3 104点以上）の日本語能力を有している者、
日本留学試験の「日本語」科目（読解および聴解・聴読解の合計）で200点相当を取得している者、
またはＢＪＴビジネス日本語能力テストにおいて400点相当以上取得している者、あるいはそれに相当する日本語能力を有する者。
※国内の日本語教育機関での学習期間は問いません。
Applicants must:
1. Possess Japanese language proficiency at CEFR Level B1 or higher (104 points or more on the JLPT N3) or
2. Achieved a score equivalent to 200 points in the "Japanese as a Foreign Language" subject of the Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU) (combined total of Reading and Listening/Listening-Reading comprehension) or
3. 400 points or higher on the BJT Business Japanese Proficiency Test
Or those possessing Japanese language proficiency equivalent to any of the above.
* There is no limit to the amount of time spent in studying at Japanese language schools in Japan.

≪日本語専修課程≫ Japanese Language Course
日本語能力試験 N5　80点以上（A1レベル相当） を取得している者、あるいはそれ相当（授業時間150 時間）以上の日本語能力を有している者。
※国内の日本語教育機関での学習歴が本学入学時に 1 年未満 であること。
Have achieved a score of 80 points or higher on the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N5 (CEFER Level A1) or are recognized as having equivalent or greater Japanese proficiency (by taking at least 150 hours of classes).
* Applicants must be those who have studied less than a year at a Japanese language school in Japan prior to their admission to Josai University.
