研究内容

近年注目されているナノカーボンを代表するフラーレンは、炭素第三の同素体であり、新規な分子構造に由来する種々の特徴ある物理的化学的特性を示すかご状炭素素材として魅力ある物質群です。「フラーレン球面の外側および内側の化学」に注目し、新規金属内包フラーレンの合成、機能化フラーレンの合成、フラーレンを配位子とする錯体の合成など、新規フラーレン化合物の合成を目指し、それらの構造と物性について研究しています。
